Gurol Hotel and Apartments

I have been taking my holidays in Hisaronu every year since 1996 and stayed in many different Hisaronu Hotels, but this year I found the Gurol Hotel and want others to experience this ‘Secret Garden’ for themselves.

The Gurol Hotel is a gem, right in the centre of Hisaronu, but when you are by the pool you feel a million miles away surrounded by pine trees and views of the mountains.

The Hotel is family run and a trueTurkish experience. Taner runs the Hotel and Apartments and Hasan runs the Churchill bar. Members of the family are always around quietly working away.

The main attraction of the hotel for me was the pool bar. A stone bar built around a (turkish) oak tree – truly unique and beautiful.

The large pool is spotless and there are plenty of sunbeds and wicker umbellas. Snacks are available all day and are freshly cooked for you on order.

If you are familiar to Turkey you will know that the accomodation is basic and this so with the Gurol Hotel, although the 2 bedroom apartments are newer than the 1 bedroom apartments and hotel rooms.

I have stayed in all types of rooms and hotels in Hisaronu and the Gurol Hotel rooms provided me with all the facilities I needed.

If you want a truly lovely Turkish holiday I highly recommend the Gurol Hotel way above other Hisaronu Hotels.
